The ControlsHow to Play
- Drag anywhere, or use the left and right arrows, to steer. One thumb is the whole control scheme.
- HOLD to tuck and fall faster. Release to spread and slow down. You are always falling; the only question is how fast.
- Falling fast scores more depth and gives you less time to react. That trade is the game.
- HEAT is the only meter. Diving heats you, clear air cools you, and cloud heats you fastest of all.
- Near the top the drifters hurt to touch and the cloud is harmless.
- Deep down that inverts: the cloud is scalding and a drifter's body is the only cool place left. Ride them.
- There is no bottom and no winning. There is only how far you got.
The IdeaAbout
A gas giant is not a planet you land on. It is an atmosphere that keeps getting denser until it stops being gas without ever becoming ground, and a body falling into one does not crash — it slows, and heats, and eventually floats at the depth where its own density matches the air. This game is that descent, and the one honest thing about it is that there is no bottom to reach.
The RecordChangelog
- 2.0.0 2026-09-18
- THERMALS. Every band offers two adaptations and you take the side you fly through — no button, no menu, no pause.
- Every adaptation is a TRADE. Ceramic skin holds heat in as well as out; radiator fins drag; the impact shell is heavy to carry. A choice with no downside is not a choice.
- Four more adaptations unlock by depth. They add VARIETY, never power, so a best depth still measures how well you fell.
- A real pause, at last: the manifest had claimed it since launch and only the browser tab could do it.
- An options screen that actually backs the accessibility claims: motion, contrast and thermal hints.
- The end screen names what killed you. It said YOU BURNED even when you flew into a deck.
- A how-to-play screen, an unlock ladder on the title, and the mute button moved out from under the fullscreen button.
